At Joelanta 2025, I sat down with Jason Bienvenu from Spero Toys to get the latest scoop on the ever-expanding Animal Warriors of the Kingdom action figure line. In this interview, Jason shares exciting updates about the current state of the brand, new comic releases, Kickstarter progress, and what collectors can expect in the coming months.

Fans of Animal Warriors of the Kingdom will be thrilled to learn that the comic series is moving along with issue #7 on the way, while the highly anticipated “Brawler Wave” is targeted for release before Chinese New Year. Jason also revealed that older figures are still available on the Spero Toys website, with select convention exclusives making a return for limited runs at upcoming shows like Toy Expo Nashville, Legions Con, and Zolo Con.

Collectors who backed the Kickstarter will also be excited to hear updates on new characters like Boone and Kanji, along with insights into the lizard figures expected by Legions Con 2026. Spero Toys is also working hard on new body types, which will expand the line even further with six new figures in development.
