Just when collectors thought they knew what to expect from Figura Obscura, the unexpected happened! True to its name, which means “secret figure,” Figura Obscura dropped a clandestine release at LegionsCon 2025, the latest addition to their “Gods of Ancient Egypt” series: Thoth, the ibis-headed god of writing and knowledge.

Building on the foundation laid last year with the popular Anubis and Bastet figures, Thoth now completes an impressive trio of deities from the Egyptian pantheon. The surprise release thrilled attendees at LegionsCon, giving them the first opportunity to snag this highly anticipated figure.

Figure Details and Accessories

The new Figura Obscura: Thoth figure is packed with detail and accessories, ensuring a wide array of display options. Collectors will find:

  • Two different heads: One organically rendered and one with a statue-like appearance.
  • Two different top attachments for the heads.
  • Two Was-sceptres—the traditional staff carried by Egyptian gods.
  • A writing tablet and an ankh.
  • Extra hands and feet, including both standard “human” feet and dramatic avian talons.
  • A recreation of a real-world antiquity from ancient Egypt, adding an extra layer of historical significance to the piece.

Thoth is designed to display perfectly alongside Anubis and Bastet, making for a striking centerpiece for any collector of mythological figures.

Not a Con Exclusive!

While Thoth made his grand debut at LegionsCon 2025, collectors who missed the show need not worry. The Figura Obscura: Thoth figure is not exclusive to the convention.

Fans will have another chance to acquire the god of writing and knowledge sometime in 2026 when he is released as an “in stock” item on the official StoreHorsemen.com website. For those at LegionsCon this weekend, however, the chance to be among the first to add this secret figure to their collection is a major highlight.
