Valaverse has given collectors a new reason to look forward to their upcoming spring offerings, providing an update on the popular Jester figure from the Action Force line. The studio confirmed a quality-of-life upgrade for the figure’s paint application, along with a highly competitive price point for the upcoming wave.

The announcement was made via the company’s Instagram, focusing on the refinement of the Jester prototype.

Enhanced Detail with a “Wash”

Valaverse noted that the figure’s original paint deco was “missing something,” leading the team to apply a “wash.” This is a sophisticated painting technique where thinned, darker paint is applied over textured areas. The paint settles into the grooves and details, in this case, the Jester’s leather, creating shadows and depth.

The result, as described by the studio, is that the figure’s details now “pop,” lending a more realistic and high-end appearance to the combat gear. This attention to detail is a hallmark of the Valaverse brand, which aims to deliver premium quality in the 1/12 scale military action figure market.

Competitive Pricing for Series 6

The Jester figure is officially slated to be part of the Spring Series 6 offering, along with several other unannounced items. Perhaps the biggest news for collectors is the confirmed price point for the standard figures in the wave:

This pricing keeps the Valaverse Action Force line highly competitive in the crowded 1/12 scale market, especially considering the quality, articulation, and extensive accessories the line is known for. The focus on improved paint applications, like the new Valaverse Jester Wash, at a lower price point is a strong signal of Valaverse’s commitment to collector value.

Fans can expect pre-order details and the full line-up for the Spring Series 6 offering to be revealed closer to the start of the new year.
