Independent toy powerhouse Four Horsemen Studios (4H Studios) has delivered fantastic news to collectors, announcing that the highly anticipated 2025 Retailer Appreciation Wave has completed production and is officially on its way to the warehouse. This release is entirely exclusive to their worldwide network of retail partners. This will mark an exciting start to the year for toy stores and their customers.
This 2025 4H Studios Retailer Wave features a strategic mix of new characters for the Mythic Legions and Cosmic Legions lines. It will also feature sought-after repaints of previous Figura Obscura releases.
The Figures of the 4H Studios Retailer Wave
The core of the wave is split between updated versions of beloved figures and brand-new entries into the studio’s flagship lines.
Figura Obscura Second Editions
Four Horsemen is offering collector-friendly second editions of some of the most popular Figura Obscura releases, differentiated by unique color schemes:
- Gods of Ancient Egypt Repaints: New takes on Anubis and Bastet, providing fresh color options for these stunning sculpts.
- Frankenstein’s Monster: A new, striking green-skinned version of the classic Universal Monster-inspired figure.
- Ghost of Christmas Past: A ghostly “spectral blue” version of the figure, complementing the previously released spectral green variant.
Brand-New Legions Releases
Two entirely new figures are also making their debut exclusively through this 4H Studios Retailer Wave:
- T.U.5.C.C. Phantom Trooper (Cosmic Legions): Expanding the technological forces of the cosmic realm, this new trooper will be a critical army-builder for fans of the Cosmic Legions line.
- Vernaliss Ardenscale (Mythic Legions): A visually stunning, reptilian druid figure, adding a new layer of natural magic and depth to the fantastical world of Mythic Legions.
Timeline and Fulfillment Details
The 2025 Retailer Appreciation Wave is currently en route to the port in China. It is expected to soon be loaded onto a container ship bound for the New Jersey warehouse.
The studio anticipates a swift arrival shortly after the new year. This puts the expected arrival window between late January and early February. Once the shipment is officially in hand, Four Horsemen will promptly begin fulfilling orders to its retail partners.
Crucially for collectors, the studio has confirmed that this wave will be made available only through their retailer network. These items will not be offered for sale on the SourceHorsemen website or at any future conventions or events. This makes the preorders placed through partner retailers the only way to secure these figures.
A definitive retailer “street date” will be announced once the figures have physically arrived and shipping logistics are finalized. This ensures collectors know exactly when they can expect to see their preorders fulfilled.
Looking Ahead
In addition to this major retail wave, Four Horsemen Studios offered positive news regarding other forthcoming waves, including the highly anticipated Mythic Legions: Rising Sons. Stay tuned for further updates. The beginning of 2026 is shaping up to be a busy time for large-scale figure arrivals.
