High-end collectible manufacturer Ramen Toy has brought the Ramen Toy G-1 Eagle Sharp to Nuremberg Toy Fair. This highly anticipated release brings the iconic vehicle from Science Ninja Team Gatchaman (Battle of the Planets) to life with modern engineering and premium materials.
Fans of the classic anime have long awaited a definitive version of Ken the Eagle’s signature craft, and this showcase confirms that Ramen Toy is aiming for the definitive “Masterpiece” slot in collector displays.
Precision Engineering and Premium Materials
The Ramen Toy G-1 Eagle Sharp is a fantastic item, measuring approximately 280mm x 230mm x 135mm. While the primary construction utilizes high-quality ABS for sharp, anime-accurate lines, the vehicle also integrates die-cast metal and PVC components to provide the weight and durability collectors expect from a premium release.
One of the standout features of the prototype on display is the integrated wings extension mechanism, allowing for dynamic posing. To further the immersion, the “Eagle Sharp” includes LED Thrusters, featuring light-up engine nozzles that recreate the G-1’s high-velocity look.
Interactive Features and Accessories
Ramen Toy is known for adding “play value” to adult collectibles, and the G-1 Eagle Sharp is no exception. Key features revealed include:
- Ken the Eagle Figure: Includes a 75mm Ken the Eagle figure with 10 points of articulation, perfectly scaled to sit within the cockpit.
- Dual-Option Cockpit: Collectors can choose between an open or closed canopy to show off the highly detailed cockpit interior.
