Action figure fans heading to Augusta, Georgia this weekend just got a awesome surprise. Independent toy powerhouse Marauder Gun-Runners (MGR) has announced a last-minute factory delivery that completely changes their lineup for JoeFest 2026. In a social media post, Marauder John and the MGR team revealed that brand-new, highly anticipated Vietnam-era items are officially joining the convention’s sales floor.

For fans of highly articulated, modular 1:18 scale military figures, Marauder Gun-Runners has long been a gold standard. This latest announcement cements their reputation for delivering exactly what the community wants, right when excitement is at its peak.

The Exclusive “Nam” Lineup Detailed

The surprise shipment introduces two major additions to Marauder’s historically inspired military ranks. The focal point of the drop is the Marauder Nam LRRP 3-Man Team. Long-range reconnaissance patrol (LRRP) units are legendary in military history, and MGR is bringing them to life with the intense attention to detail they are known for.

This special 3-man team box set isn’t just a repackaging of older figures; it comes packed with unique convention incentives. The set includes:

• Three fully detailed Vietnam-era operator figures.
• The exclusive “Pocket Patrol” ammo pouch carrying case.
• A limited-edition custom Nam patch.

Alongside the LRRP team, Marauder is introducing The Extraction Specialist. This figure looks slightly familiar. I can’t quite put my finger on it. Leave a comment below and let me know who that figure reminds you of…

Limited Quantities and Booth Strategy

Because this factory delivery arrived literally as the MGR crew was walking out the door to the convention, quantities are strictly limited. Marauder Gun-Runners explicitly warned fans to “hit the Marauder booth early” if they want to secure these Vietnam-themed sets. Historically, MGR convention exclusives sell out within the first few hours of the preview night or early morning windows.

For serious collectors, this means prioritizing the Marauder booth the moment the convention doors open. The modular nature of Marauder figures means these parts will be highly sought after for custom figure builders as well, driving up demand even further.

Free Swag: The Marauder T-Shirt Tradition

In addition to the toy reveals, Marauder John reminded attendees of one of the best fan-appreciation traditions in the independent toy circuit. If you wear an official Marauder shirt to their booth, the team will hand you a brand-new, updated Marauder shirt absolutely free.

It is a simple but incredibly effective way the company rewards its loyal fans, ensuring that the convention floor is flooded with MGR branding all weekend long.

JoeFest has grown into one of the premier conventions for GI Joe, action force, and 1:18 scale military toy fans. When an independent leader like Marauder Gun-Runners drops surprise inventory right at the finish line, it creates the exact kind of organic hype that defines the indie toy community.

Make sure your inventory checklists are updated, get your vintage MGR gear packed, and prepare to line up early. The battle for the Vietnam-era exclusives is going to be one of the biggest stories of the weekend.
