Four Horsemen Studios is once again proving that collaboration breeds incredible creativity within the action figure community. The studio revealed a brand-new project developed in tandem with their longtime friends over at Icon Heroes. This exciting release introduces fans to the Icon Heroes Ringmassster, a unique figure based entirely on the Jiu Jitsu Combat Creatures universe.
The relationship between these two companies spans years of history, particularly on the San Diego Comic-Con convention floor. Pat from Icon Heroes has been a dedicated supporter of the Four Horsemen crew since the earliest days of their studio. When the opportunity arose to create a special figure specifically for the Icon Heroes booth at SDCC, the design team jumped at the chance to bring this reptilian mastermind to life.
The Build System and Figure Specifications
What makes the Icon Heroes Ringmassster particularly exciting for collectors is its underlying engineering. The figure was built utilizing the highly versatile Legions Build System, a modular construction method that fans know and love from lines like Mythic Legions and Cosmic Legions. This means the figure will seamlessly integrate with existing collections, offering incredible potential for customizers who enjoy swapping parts.
Standing approximately 7 inches tall, the Ringmassster is fully articulated and ready for dynamic martial arts posing. The release is packed with an impressive array of accessories, including:
- A ceremonial spear
- Two mysterious scrolls
- Four complete sets of interchangeable hands
- A bendy tail for expressive posing
- Two distinct head sculpts
- A removable soft goods gi with intricate gold trim
Once the soft goods gi is removed, collectors will find a fully detailed, highly sculpted reptilian body underneath. This hidden layer showcases the signature aesthetic precision that Four Horsemen Studios brings to every single project they touch.
Lore of the Jiu Jitsu Combat Creatures Universe
Icon Heroes has provided an intriguing backstory for this new character, setting the stage for his role in the broader Jiu Jitsu Combat Creatures lore. Within this universe, the Ringmassster operates as an architect, matchmaker, and mastermind.
Clad in a crimson, gold-trimmed sleeveless gi, his influence shapes the very nature of combat, legacy, and organized competition inside the arena. The two scrolls he carries hold significant weight: one contains the official laws of the arena, while the other is rumored to hold deep secrets known only to him. With his ceremonial spear in hand, he stands prepared to oversee and orchestrate every battle that takes place.
San Diego Comic-Con Availability and Post-Con Plans
Fans attending San Diego Comic-Con will have the first opportunity to track down this exclusive figure. The Icon Heroes Ringmassster is scheduled to make its official debut at the Icon Heroes booth, located at Booth 4344. While their booth space sits side-by-side with the Four Horsemen Studios location, this item is being handled and sold directly by the Icon Heroes team during the event.
For collectors who are unable to attend the convention in person, there is still an opportunity to add this figure to the shelf. Four Horsemen Studios confirmed they have secured a very small allotment of the stock to offer directly to fans on their own website later this year. This web release will feature the exact same figure offered at the convention and will be available in strictly limited quantities via StoreHorsemen near the end of the year.
