Solid Raven Toys is entering the second half of its crowdfunding campaign for its highly anticipated retro line. With exactly 15 days remaining on the clock, the creator has dropped a major announcement, giving fans two awesome new add-on options to bolster their collections. The project, which merges 1980s-style 3.75-inch O-ring design sensibilities with modern tactical tabletop mechanics, continues to build serious momentum in the toy community.

The halfway milestone is always a critical point for any crowdfunding venture, and these fresh updates demonstrate that the development team is fully intent on keeping the energy high. The update proves that the struggle for survival within the cosmic arena known as the Nexus is only getting larger and more customizable for backers.

The Inside Joke Becomes a Reality: The Ultimate Cereal Box Four-Pack

The first of the two surprise reveals addresses an inside joke within the community that has quickly evolved into an official, must-have collector’s item. For those who want to maximize their roster with specific character variants, this unique pack brings a heavily requested lineup together in an incredibly nostalgic format.

Packaged in a retro-inspired cereal box that looks like it was pulled straight from a Saturday morning commercial block in 1988, this limited-run set introduces a highly stylized crossover within the universe. The set features four distinct figures from the lore:

• 1× Seiko: The elite operative known for ultimate precision, Kenjutsu mastery, and Gun-Kata combat styles.
• 1× Phantom: A ghostly presence built for stealth operations inside the treacherous arena.
• 1× Delta: A vital asset designed to handle high-stakes tactical deployments.
• 1× Seiklone: The highly sought-after variant character that has captured the imagination of the community.

In addition to the four figures, the add-on comes packed with exclusive collector’s packaging and a limited-edition art print. True to the independent spirit of the project, this special edition set will not hit traditional retail channels. It is a strict limited-run item, available exclusively to backers during the active Kickstarter campaign window.

Build Your Legion: The Darkwalker Army Expansion

For fans who love building massive battlefield displays or expanding their tactical tabletop options, the second add-on is a dream come true. Priced at $80, the Darkwalker Army pack provides the perfect tool for army building.

In the official lore of the game, the formidable Darkwalker does not operate in isolation. To truly dominate the arena and subvert the forces trapped within the cosmic entity known as “The Wreck,” a true commander requires rank-and-file enforcement. This troop-builder set provides exactly that, allowing players to flood the board with specialized forces.

The Darkwalker Army add-on includes:

• 3× Darkwalker Clone Soldiers: Highly articulated, vintage-style O-ring figures optimized for squad deployment and customization.
• Exclusive Collector’s Packaging: Specially designed boxing meant to showcase the uniform aesthetic of the legion.
• Limited Edition Print: A high-quality piece of promotional art celebrating the dark faction.

Just like the cereal box set, the Darkwalker Army set is a limited-production run. Once the final 15 days expire, the opportunity to acquire these specific clone configurations directly from the source will close.

The success of the campaign highlights a broader trend in the modern collector market: a profound hunger for the tactile nostalgia of vintage action figure formats paired with contemporary worldbuilding. Solid Raven Toys has tapped into this desire beautifully by offering highly detailed sculpts, interchangeable weapons, and deep character dossiers that recall the golden age of military and sci-fi toy lines.

With half of the campaign completed and the core funding goals firmly established, the final two weeks will determine how many stretch goals and specialized configurations can be unlocked. Backers looking to modify their current pledges can do so immediately by navigating to the campaign dashboard and selecting the new additions. Keep an eye on IndependentToys.news for further Rise of Nexus Kickstarter updates as the countdown to the final deadline continues.
