The Super7 ThunderCats ULTIMATES SDCC 2026 Exclusives are now available for pre-order at BBTS. These figures feature all-new LED light-up eye functions for two of Third Earth’s most iconic characters: Lion-O and Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living.

Both figures pay tribute to classic 1980s retro toy colorways while introducing electronic features never before integrated into Super7’s 7-inch scale collectible format. Pre-orders for both figures are now live across major collector platforms, including BigBadToyStore, with an estimated ship date of August 2026.

The Lord of the ThunderCats Illuminates the Battle

Leading the release is the ThunderCats ULTIMATES! Lion-O (LED Lightup) SDCC 2026 Exclusive. Standing in 7-inch scale with 27 points of articulation, this release showcases bright red LED light-up eyes engineered to mimic the character’s legendary “Sight Beyond Sight” ability from the classic 1985 animated series.

Painted in vibrant retro toy colors, the figure includes an array of character-specific weapons and accessories:

• The Sword of Omens: Included in both long (fully extended) and short (dagger) formats.
• Claw Shield: Sculpted with precise detail to fit onto Lion-O’s hand or hip.
• Interchangeable Hands: Multiple options designed for dynamic weapon wielding and display poses.

At a retail price of $74.99, this convention exclusive captures the signature look of the original LJN toy line while providing modern sculpting standards and electronic light functionality.

• The Sword of Plun-Darr: A towering signature blade rendered with sharp, screen-accurate sculpt work.
• Vintage Toy Swords: Includes two vintage-styled swords (long and short variants) honoring the classic toy aesthetic.

Retro Aesthetic Meets Modern Engineering

Super7’s ULTIMATES! line has long been celebrated by action figure fans for delivering definitive editions of beloved pop-culture icons. However, integrating battery-powered LED illumination directly into 7-inch sculpted head sculpts represents an exciting addition for the manufacturer.

By combining retro toy-color deco schemes, evoking the bright hues of 1980s carded figures, with modern battery integration, Super7 offers a distinct homage that appeals to nostalgic collectors and new fans alike.

Both figures are limited to four units per household on retail platforms. Given the high demand for San Diego Comic-Con exclusives, collector interest is expected to be swift as pre-orders remain open ahead of the late summer shipping window.
