BigBadWorkshop recently shared a look at the completed paint master for The Order, a stand-out character set to expand the high-octane world of Operation Monster Force.
While the prototype figure initially made its physical debut under the bright lights of San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), the reveal was missing a critical piece of the puzzle. The artist behind the paint application admitted to accidentally leaving the unmasked head sculpt behind during the convention setup. Now, collector communities are getting the full picture of the figure in all of its unmasked glory.
A Collaborative Powerhouse in 1:12 Scale
Creating a flagship figure like The Order takes a village of independent industry veterans. The character was brought to life through a collaborative design effort between Fresh Monkey Fiction, deathmetaldanart, and BigBadWorkShop.
The painted prototype showcases high-contrast shading, intricate uniform accents, and fine details on both portrait options. The unmasked portrait adds personal character depth, giving fans of the lore a choice between tactical menace and striking realism.
Joining the Ranks of Operation Monster Force
The Order fits into the sprawling narrative universe shared between Operation Monster Force and its prequel companion series, The Order of the Crimson Moon. Combining military action tropes with classic monster horror, the line features figures equipped with over 20 points of articulation, swappable parts, and detailed weaponry.
With the final paint master complete, the figure is moving closer toward production, where factory paint samples will translate this hand-painted master into a mass-produced figure for collector shelves.
For indie toy fans who love military tactics mixed with occult horror, BigBadWorkshop’s latest update proves that Operation Monster Force continues to be one of the most exciting creator-owned action figure lines on the market.
