The team behind one of the most celebrated modern O-ring action figure projects is heading south this fall. Legendary G.I. Joe figure designer Mark Pennington, classic packaging illustrator Doug Hart, and project mastermind R. Carson Mataxis have officially confirmed their attendance for JoeLanta 2026.

Taking place September 25–27, 2026, at the Gas South Convention Center in Duluth, Georgia, the annual gathering will host the creators for a weekend filled with physical figure inventory, behind-the-scenes production peeks, and direct community interaction.

For fans of vintage 3.75-inch military figures and modern creator-owned collectibles, this appearance marks an opportunity to meet the original architects who shaped 1980s toy aisles alongside the team driving the current O-ring revival.
