Four Horsemen Studios is tapping into deep line history for Wave 3 of Mythic Legions: Legacies of Mythoss. This latest wave revisits classic characters from the line’s earliest days, complete with upgraded articulation, freshly sculpted accessories, and refined soft goods.

Whether you missed these characters during their original Kickstarter runs or want to swap out older figures for updated sculpts, Wave 3 brings major upgrades to three heavyweight releases: Malleus, Thord Ironjaw, and a surprise appearance by the ogre Kkurzog.

Here is the full breakdown of each figure, along with the dual-phase release schedule you will need to navigate to secure them.

The Wave 3 Lineup

Malleus (Child of Necronominus)

As the first “child” of the God of Death introduced back in the original Kickstarter, Malleus holds a massive place in Mythoss lore. Known as the “ear of Necronominus,” this updated release moves well beyond his previous All-Stars reissue.

  • Height & Articulation: 7 inches tall, 33 points of articulation.
  • Sculpts: 2 newly sculpted heads (plain skull and battle helm).
  • Gear: 2 new twin axes, 3 sets of hands, removable shoulder armor.
  • Soft Goods: Premium wired soft-goods skirt, loin piece, and cowl (plus an alternate plastic loin piece).

Thord Ironjaw

Attlus the Conqueror’s heroic companion finally gets his due. Despite his importance to the narrative, Thord has never received a reissue since the original Kickstarter campaign, making this updated figure a long-overdue addition for collectors.

  • Height & Articulation: 6 inches tall, 30 points of articulation.
  • Sculpts: 2 newly sculpted heads (helmeted and unhelmeted).
  • Gear & Accessories: New axe, new sword with scabbard, new shield, 2 sets of hands, removable shoulder armor, belt, and S-hook.
  • Extra Touches: A turkey leg and a mug of dwarven ale.

Kkurzog (Surprise Ogre Reveal)

The surprise third slot goes to the iconic ogre Kkurzog. Originally standard-bearer for the line’s larger scale, and famously modeled as a 10-foot display statue for convention circuits, Kkurzog has been sold out for years. This upgraded release introduces modern engineering to the massive character.

  • Height & Engineering: 9 inches tall on a brand-new ogre body featuring butterfly shoulders, bicep swivels, mid-waist cut, and double-jointed knees.
  • Sculpts & Armor: 2 heads (1 brand new), a new helmet, removable shoulder armor, and 2 removable chest armor options (the legacy style plus a new design).
  • Gear: Sword, shield, and 3 sets of hands.
