Joelanta 2026 is shaping up to be a massive event for independent action figure creators, and the Creative Realms booth is set to be a major highlight on the show floor. Attendees will get an up-close look at physical prototypes, custom dioramas, and upcoming releases from several of the most anticipated indie lines in the 1:12 and 1:18 scale spaces. If you are tracking original IP projects, dark fantasy sculpts, or high-end vehicle engineering, this display needs to be high on your convention checklist.

Dark Fantasy and Horror: From the Realm

From the Realm is bringing its line of dark fantasy, horror, and creature figures to the event. Designed in 1:12 scale, the universe centers on vampires, monsters, and nightmarish entities engineered with extensive articulation.

The talent behind the project includes:

• Erick Sosa: Lead sculptor known for high-detail work with major studios like Iron Studios.
• Jorge Pelaez III: Veteran contributor behind the popular Thundercats Classics community page and previous design work with Mondo.
• Carlos Espino: Digital creator and reviewer behind Badass Reviews.

The team will have painted prototypes and display setups ready for photo coverage throughout the weekend.

Mythological Action Figures: Kaleo Legends

Creator Jeff Lees, a former prototyper for Mezco, is showcasing his original 1:12 scale line, Kaleo Legends. The property draws inspiration from apocryphal texts, celestial beings, the Book of Enoch, and ancient mythology, translating fringe lore into articulated physical figures.

Following the project’s pre-order launch on September 1, the booth will feature five core figures in prototype form, giving collectors their first opportunity to inspect the paint applications, scale, and joints in person.

1:18 Scale Vehicle Engineering: URU Toys Night Wolf

For 1:18 scale collectors, URU Toys is displaying the Night Wolf, a Combat Assault Vehicle designed for their futuristic Future Front 2087 setting. Tooling and production are handled by Ramen Toy, and the booth will exhibit a fully painted, production-ready prototype.

While built specifically for the Future Front universe, the vehicle features modular scaling that allows it to integrate seamlessly with existing 1:18 scale displays and military lines.

Display Accessories and Creator Spotlight

In addition to the main figure lines, the Creative Realms area is showcasing specialized gear and accessories designed for figure photography and display customization:

• Hexastack: Interlocking display stands designed for dynamic posing.
• Art by Akerman: Specialized custom paintbrushes built for fine-detail figure work.
• Billy Beige Customs: 3D-printed accessory packs, weapons, and diorama builder pieces.
