In a swift response to community feedback, the upcoming Warriors of the Galaxy Wave 3 action figure, Deevil, has received a significant last-minute sculpt adjustment. The figure, part of the popular retro-inspired line, will now feature a larger, re-proportioned head thanks to a dedicated effort by the production team.

The update was confirmed via a recent social media post from the Warriors of the Galaxy team, which directly addressed fan concerns about the figure’s initial appearance.

“Did someone say Deevil’s head was too small? A big thanks to our partners in China for making a last-minute adjustment possible! Peer took your feedback to heart and tweaked Deevil’s head; now it looks just right on the mighty Warriors of the Galaxy body!”

The original sculpt of Deevil’s head was noted by some fans to appear undersized when placed on the figure’s notably mighty and imposing Warriors of the Galaxy body. These types of comments are not uncommon in the passionate action figure collecting community, where scale and proportion are critical elements of the final product.

A Commitment to Collector Satisfaction

This rapid design change underscores the Warriors of the Galaxy team’s commitment to delivering a high-quality product that meets collector expectations. Making such a physical alteration this late in the production cycle, typically a challenge, demonstrates effective collaboration with their overseas manufacturing partners.

The revised head sculpt is said to offer a better sense of scale, ensuring Deevil stands as an even more intimidating and visually cohesive addition to Wave 3. Collectors who pre-ordered the figure can now look forward to receiving the enhanced version, proving that the voice of the fan base is a powerful force in the world of independent toy lines.

What’s Next for Wave 3?

With the Deevil adjustment finalized, attention now turns fully toward the production and eventual shipping of Warriors of the Galaxy Wave 3. This wave is highly anticipated, and this proactive update bodes well for the overall quality of the line.
