Creative Beast Studio has given fans an up-close look at the third dragon joining the highly anticipated Cyberzoic line: the Bristle Dragon, code-named Aries. This massive figure, which was first revealed during LegionsCon last weekend, serves as the trusty companion of the Fire Clan’s Dragolina.
Studio founder David Silva shared detailed images of the resin prototype, confirming the impressive hand-sculpted nature of the figure and providing an updated target release window for this fantasy beast.
Sculpting and Articulation Details
The prototype shown is a 100% hand-sculpted piece created in Castilene, highlighting the intricate texture work synonymous with Creative Beast Studio’s designs. The team confirmed that the final production version of the Cyberzoic Bristle Dragon Aries will be designed with dynamic articulation in mind, including:
- Articulated Wings: Essential for dramatic flight poses and interaction with other figures.
- Interchangeable Tail Tip: This unique feature allows collectors to swap the tail end to demonstrate the dragon’s ability to contract its quills into a powerful bludgeoning weapon, perfect for the Cyberzoic line’s gladiator combat theme.
- Saddle: Although not shown in the prototype images, the final version will include a saddle, enabling other Cyberzoic figures to ride Aries into battle.
Release and Production Timeline
The molding and casting work for the prototype were handled by Jeremy Monz, a frequent collaborator of the studio. While the figure is still in its prototype stage, the studio has set an ambitious target for release.
Collectors should prepare for the Cyberzoic Bristle Dragon Aries to arrive in the latter part of 2026. This timeline is consistent with the lengthy, high-quality production process that Creative Beast Studio employs for its large-scale dinosaur and dragon figures.
Fans are now eagerly awaiting the final painted prototypes, which will fully showcase the incredible detail and coloration of this impressive dragon companion.
