Harvinger Studios, known for bringing the iconic characters of Frank Frazetta to collectible life, has just made a major announcement sure to excite fantasy and action figure fans: the Death Dealer Steed is officially in production and heading for a limited preorder very soon.
In a new collaboration, Harvinger Studios has partnered with Fish Toys to utilize their highly articulated horse buck for the Death Dealer’s legendary mount. This partnership ensures the steed will possess the high level of articulation and quality collectors expect, consistent with Fish Toys’ already-released horse figures.
New Sculpting and Details Confirmed
While the new reveal is currently presented as a working render, the final production piece promises significant upgrades tailored specifically for the Death Dealer line.
The figure will feature:
- New Frazetta-Specific Tack: Custom armor and accessories designed to match the mount seen in Frazetta’s seminal artwork.
- Two Head Sculptures: Including one newly sculpted head unique to this release, giving collectors display variety.
- Synthetic Hair: The mane and tail will feature synthetic hair, mimicking the realistic look of other Fish Toys horses.
The design and sculpting team for this impressive figure includes Frank Frazetta, Kevin Delies, and Dave Proctor, ensuring fidelity to the original vision.
Death Dealer Figure Status Update
Harvinger Studios also provided an update on the centerpiece figure, the Death Dealer himself. Production on the armored warrior is confirmed to be “in full swing,” with an estimated shipping timeframe from the factory to the U.S. set for late Q4 2025.
Fans who missed the direct preorder window for the Death Dealer are encouraged to check with partnering retailers, whose stock may still be available for reservation.
Supporting the Frazetta Legacy
As with their other releases, Harvinger Studios emphasizes that sales of the Death Dealer Steed directly support the Frazetta Art Museum’s mission to maintain, support, and re-acquire Frank Frazetta’s original artworks. Collectors are purchasing a premium figure while simultaneously contributing to the preservation of fantasy art history.
